What a great time it is at Core Creek MC! We have had a great increase in the number of young people (0-12 years) in our church on Sunday mornings!
To help encourage families, we have begun having regular ministries and activities especially for young people. We have a Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9:30. Our Sunday School includes Christian education, activities, crafts, and all kinds of adventures as we explore God’s Word together! We also have Children’s Church each Sunday. In our regular worship service, Pastor Bryan calls for the young people in the church to come up for a special message and prayer with the pastor. Our young people love this time in our service and usually run, hop, skip and otherwise make their way to the front of the church enthusiastically! Then they have an opportunity to go with Ms. Susan and Ms. Janet for a special, children-focused time of learning and FUN!
We also have begun to have monthly ‘outings’, or activities, for our young people where they can both play and learn together! We have played together and gone on a boat ride together, and had all kinds of fun together! At one of our young people’s gatherings, we rang the bell so much and so loudly that the handle came off the rope! !
Keep an eye on our calendar for the young people’s outings as they are scheduled. They are usually on Saturdays, and the cost is usually covered by people within the church.
