About Us
Core Creek Methodist Church is located just minutes from Beaufort, Morehead City, Newport, and Havelock, NC. Located at 124 Hardesty Loop Road, Newport, NC 28570, this beautiful sanctuary is within sight of the Intracoastal Waterway just off Highway 101.
We welcome everyone to come worship with us. A blended traditional/contemporary service is held every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with Holy Communion offered the first Sunday of each month. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Check out our calendar for special events and other opportunities for serving and learning!
Core Creek Methodist Men
Our regular Men’s gathering is a time of fellowship and leadership open to all men of any age! We gather and work to promote Jesus Christ in our church and community by actively participating in the life of the church and in the lives of people. Our men’s group gathers on the fourth Tuesday of each month, usually at 6:30 pm.

Our Women’s gathering at Core Creek is affectionately known as “WINGS”; Women In God’s Service! Our Women’s gatherings are open to all women who want to gather in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for service to God, our community and the world. We gather each month on the second Tuesday evening at 7:00.
Young at Heart
Are you available the first Wednesday of the month for lunch? If so, then come join us for Young at Heart where we share faith, fellowship, food, and fun! We always enjoy a devotional and a delicious meal followed by either games, a speaker, or a movie! Our speakers discuss a range of topics from nutrition to how to avoid being scammed.
